The Gravel Monster arrived

The Maßstab EVO WIDE is the ultimate challenge when it comes to internal width, rim height, and weight. Developed for the extreme demands of the Dutch beach races, where wide tires, maximum stability, and low weight make the difference between victory and defeat, this wheelset was designed uncompromisingly for performance.

Originally created at the request of our Dutch importer, the Gravel Monster is now officially available on the German market due to very high demand.

With 30 mm internal width, 45 mm rim height, and a set weight from only 1,280 grams, this wheelset sets new standards in the gravel segment. The ultra-wide carbon rim provides ideal conditions for modern gravel tires from 40 to 64 mm and impresses with excellent tubeless performance, maximum traction, and high stability – even on loose sand, gravel, or at high speeds.

PROVEN TECHNOLOGY, NO EXPERIMENTS

Our BikeBeat SuperLight Ratchet Straightpull hubs are used, offering high stiffness, low weight, and maximum reliability. The installed bearings are standardized and easily available worldwide:

Freehub: 2× 6802

For the spokes, we deliberately use SAPIM CX-Ray steel spokes, a reference in high-end wheel building for years. They are durable, extremely strong, and in case of service can be replaced quickly and easily – a crucial advantage for hard use such as beach races or long gravel adventures.
